Mental performance coaching for athletes and high performers.
You train hard. You care. But under pressure, things can speed up.
You overthink. One mistake turns into three. Confidence gets tied to results.
You know you’re capable of more, but it does not always show up when it counts. This work helps you build the skills to stay clear, steady, and committed when it matters most.
In competition. In work. In life.

Working with Andy taught me how to reset when things get intense. Whether I'm standing over a tough putt or walking into a big meeting, I now know how to acknowledge the situation, come back to my breath, and focus on what's important right now. It's created a tangible shift in how I show up."

I’m Andy.
I’ve spent my life in high-performance environments.
Professional baseball (Dodgers organization)
9 years in tech at a startup through IPO
Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology
Ultra-endurance athlete (including a 1,200-mile run across Great Britain)
I’ve seen both sides:
Athletes who know how to perform when it matters.
And capable people working hard, but feeling scattered or reactive.
This work is about closing that gap.
Using simple, practical tools from sport psychology, breathwork, and mindfulness
so you can focus on what matters, handle pressure, and reset quickly.
Without burning yourself out in the process.

Our first session is about understanding where you are and where you want to go. We'll identify what's working, what's getting in your way, and what patterns are showing up in your performance.
From there, we build a plan tailored to you.
For athletes, that might look like:
Building pre-competition routines that actually work
Learning how to reset after mistakes
Developing confidence that isn't based on results
Using breathwork to manage nerves
Staying connected to why you play in the first place
For professionals, that might look like:
Reconstructing your day so you're not just reacting to emails and Slack
Starting your morning with breathwork and intention instead of anxiety
Learning how to focus deeply on high-priority work (not just busywork)
Speaking with confidence in meetings and presentations
Building recovery practices so you don't just crash at night
Zooming out to see the bigger picture when you're in the weeds
Aligning your work with your deeper purpose
We work through evidence-based mental skills training, breathwork, meditation, and practical tools you can use immediately. Most people do a focused series of 6-8 sessions to build the foundation, then check in periodically as needed.
The goal isn't to make you dependent on coaching. It's to give you the tools and self-awareness to perform on your own.

I work with competitive athletes (high school, college, elite) who are serious about their mental game, and professionals who want to bring that same level of mental training into their work.
My clients are people who aren't satisfied with just going through the motions. They want to perform at a high level, stay connected to purpose, and build sustainable practices—not just grind until they burn out.
If you're curious whether this is a fit, let's schedule a free call and talk through what you're working on.
-
How we work together depends on your goals, schedule, and context. Some people want short-term support around a specific challenge, while others prefer ongoing work over time.
Rather than listing prices upfront, I start with a free 20-minute conversation to explore fit and talk through what working together could look like, including pricing.
I also reserve a portion of my practice for sliding scale clients. If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to share that and we can talk about it.
-
Sessions are typically 50 minutes.
The first meeting is a 20 minute free consultation to explore goals and ensure the right fit.
Follow-up sessions are structured around a clear plan and practical tools you can apply immediately.
-
It varies.
A high school athlete, a professional, and a team aren’t the same, so I don’t use a single fixed price.
If this feels like a fit, reach out. We’ll talk and find a structure that fits.

Most clients work together for a focused series of sessions, often 6 to 8, to build mental skills and integrate them into daily routines.
After that, we schedule periodic check-ins or "tune-ups" as needed.
The goal is to help you develop lasting confidence and tools you can continue to use on your own.
-
Our work begins with meeting you where you are. Together we explore acceptance of yourself, your situation, and the uncertainty that comes with competition and life.
We build awareness of your purpose, values, and patterns, creating space to develop practical tools that help you respond with presence instead of stress. Over time, this leads to confidence, clarity, and a deeper trust in yourself both on and off the field.
-
Yes. Everything discussed in sessions is confidential and protected.
The only exceptions are if there's ever risk of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by law.
-
Most sessions are held online, which allows clients across the U.S. to connect easily.
For teams, on-site sessions can be discussed upon request.
-
Mental performance coaching focuses on skill development, awareness, and action in order to help you build confidence, focus, and resilience to perform at your best.
While therapy often explores clinical concerns, this work stays in the realm of growth, mindset, and performance enhancement.
If we identify areas that might benefit from therapy, I can help you find the right licensed support.
-
Email me and we’ll find time for a free consultation. We'll talk through what you're working on, where you want to go, and whether this work is a good fit.
From there, we'll create a plan and get to work.
“In the space of total presence, we find the outer edges of performance, meaning, and joy.”
- Andy
My work is shaped by direct experience with pressure, uncertainty, endurance, and recovery. These adventures are part of what informs how I think about performance, identity, and doing hard things.
Most recently, I ran 1,200 miles across Great Britain: from the southern coast of England to the northern tip of Scotland, raising money for the Homeless World Cup. These experiences aren't separate from my work, they inform it.
